BCS survey underlines laxity of Government data protection
As if more evidence were needed for the undesirability of a Government-run national identity register, Channel 4 News reported last night that a British Computer Society survey had demonstrated a total absence of data accuracy audits or data correction budgets in 14 out of 14 UK Government departments.
